Good News Club!
Bringing the Good News to Shalimar Elementary.
Good News Club is an after-school program where children can have fun with friends while learning about God’s love and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Each week includes Bible lessons, Scripture, songs, activities, and time together in a fun and encouraging environment.
Our volunteers from Shalimar Baptist Church are excited to spend time with the students of Shalimar Elementary and help them learn biblical truths they can carry with them throughout their everyday lives.

What happens at Good News Club?
Kids can expect a fun afternoon filled with Bible Stories, songs, scripture, games, activities, and plenty of encouragement as they learn more about Jesus.
Most importantly, we want every child who comes to Good News Club to know that God loves them, they are valued, and there is a church family cheering them on.
Want your Child to Join?
We would love to have them! Good News Club is available to eligible Shalimar Elementary students with parent/guardian permission.
Transportation must be arranged by parents/guardians
People, parents and grandparents, who have received specialized training from Child Evangelism Fellowship teach the club.
CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) partners with local churches to sponsor the club. CEF, an international organization currently serving globally in every region of the world and has been in existence for over 80 years, teach millions of children each year.
CEF has taken specific steps to ensure the safety of your child. All adults involved with the club have been carefully screened as required by Okaloosa County School District and CEF Child Protection Policy. (for more information see www.cefonline.com/childprotection)
